Sharon Hardee Jimenez

Sharon is the founder of Bring Hollywood Home and the President of Icon Imaging PR.  She was a veteran campaign leader serving as a senior advisor in two USA presidential campaigns to Ohio Congressman and democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich.  Through her skillful media and SharonPortraitfundraising leadership, Sharon brought Kucinich’s campaign to the major TV networks.  Her work with the web team for Kucinich for President 2004 and 2008 yielded an historical grassroots campaign where more than 14 million dollars was raised online and issues were framed in a new way for presidential races. As a publicist for the Elected Los Angeles Charter Reform Commission under Dr. Erwin Chemerinsky, Sharon helped secure a new city charter for LA in 1999 and created neighborhood councils in the largest city in the state.  Jimenez has also worked in Northern California leading school reform measures and keeping issues in front of the media.   She is a 1974 graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications with a double minor in Political Science and English. Sharon Jimenez is a contributing producer to Gerrymandering the movie which was selected at the 2010 Tribeca and Seattle film festivals.

Bill Duke 
Duke Media Entertainment, is an actor, director, producer, writer and humanitarian.  He is secretary and board member of Bring Hollywood Home. Since the early 70s, Bill Duke along with industry veterans Michael Shultz and Gordon Parks, have long paved the way for African Americans in the industry.

Mr. Duke excels in front of and behind the camera. His acting and directing credits are extensive and include stints on such ground breaking television series as Falcon Crest, Fame, Hill Street Blues, Knotts Landing, Dallas, and New York Undercover. His feature credits include Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit, Get Rich or Die _DSC6022Trying, Deep Cover, Hoodlum, Predator, Menace II Society and Not Easily Broken, to name a few. He has recently completed production on, Blexicans, a new television pilot that takes a comedic look at a mixed race family. His documentaries, Dark Girls and Light Girls, both NAACP Image Award nominees, aired on OWN and were two of the most successful documentaries on the network. Bill Duke’s invaluable contributions to the industry have been recognized by both his peers and the entertainment community. Appointed by former President Bill Clinton to the National Endowment of Humanities, he was appointed to the Board of the CaliforniaState Film Commission by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and he has been honored by the Directors Guild of America with a Lifetime Achievement Tribute.

Gary Visconti

Gary Visconti’s rise to the top of men’s figure skating began in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan.  A promising men’s hopeful, young Visconti was catapulted into the spotlight when the entire US World Championship team was killed a plane crash in Brussels, Belgium in 1960.  Gary’s world was turned upside down with the untimely death of his best friend and US Men’s Champion Doug Ramsey in that tragic crash.  Winning the gold at the North American Championships, Visconti’s eloquent style grabbed the attention of Holiday on Ice, starting a professional career performing in front of the most famous people in the world. He is one of LA’s most famous ice skating coaches, and is considered by the elite and competitive world of figure skating as one of the sports great athletes and life time promoters. Visconti is 8 times past president of Southern California Olympians, and has served on the President’s Council on Physical Fitness with Arnold Schwarzenegger serving under President George H. Bush.  He is a member of the United States Figure Skating Association Hall of Fame. 



Martin Guigui has directed 6 Feature Films, written 12 screenplays and Executive Produced 7 feature films. Guigui has also produced over 30 music albums. Born in Buenos Aires Argentina, son of Famed Symphony Orchestra Conductor Efrain Guigui, Martin grew up in New York, Puerto Rico and Vermont. A grounding quality of Martin Guigui’s heart and soul is his extensive musical background. As an accomplished pianist and Garrick&Marttin PeaceHammond B-3 organ player, he has performed and recorded beside John Lee Hooker, James Cotton, Joan Osborne, Bo Didley, Phish, Laverne Baker, Sandra Wright, Bill Sims and Don McClean. He has twice been honored by the City Of Los Angeles for his contributions as an artist to music education. Martin is co-founder and President of Sunset Pictures which also houses Old School Records, a music label.  Martin Co-founded The First Time Film Festival in a partnership with Landmark Theatres, Every year, Guigui finds time to organize events to raise thousands of dollars for charities such as Prevention Of Child Abuse, Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, Ear Candy, Rock For Diabetes and Cancer research.  Guigui is a member of the DGA, WGA, SAG, NARAS, ASCAP.


Stephen Seidel

Stephen is a Producer/journalist/host whose Renegade Reporting website has created a great buzz in Hollywood. He is on the red carpet every week interviewing Hollywood’s up and coming stars and legendary icons with his edu-tainment approach.   An interview with Brandon Boyd of Incubus was shown in Dodger Stadium at Race for the Cure, a fundraiser for Breast Cancer that brought 10 thousand runners in March 2010.  Currently, he is hosting MSN’s ‘DV Guide’, and is the creator/host of ‘McMayhem’ man on the street show with My Damn Channel. He was the warm-up host for Mark McGrath on ‘Don’t Forget the Lyrics’, and supported two YOUnited Foundation/Donkaphant Film Festivals in 2008/2009 to bring out the young Hollywood vote in the November 2008 presidential campaign.  YOUnited/Donkaphant attracted producer Lawrence Bender to the red carpet to support the mission of attacking apathy in young Hollywood encouraging the youth in the industry to get involved, vote, and volunteer, as well as creating positive environmental awareness with PlanetLoveJoy.net.  

Polo Munoz

Polo is known as new media entrepreneur in the bi-lingual Spanish-English emerging market serving the young descendants of immigrants from Latin America in Southern California. He is the Managing Editor of Latino Weekly Review, a bi-lingual cultural magazine, and is the Producer of its successful  digital portal Latino Weekly Review on multiple online platforms. Polo also has extensive experience working with youth and local area schools. He teaches film for the Cinema Project at Normandie Avenue Elementary, and previously developed a Cinema Project at Main Street Elementary. He also coordinates the Youth Program for the South East European Film Festival, the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival, and the Filipino International Film Festival, which he also  produces. His first production “Flamenco Dreams” was aired local Los Angeles PBS affiliate KLCS, and is distributed by Universal Pictures. He has produced several short films, and is in post production of his first feature. Polo is also the Managing Producer for the new American Theater Project, and Managing Partner at Green Sun Productions. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a BA in Political Science. 

Dr. Juan Rodriguez Flores

Dr. Juan Rodriguez Flores is a leading film reviewer in the Spanish Language.  The Editor-in-Chief of the online websitewww.lationweeklyreview.com Dr. Flores is leading an independent media publication bridging the English/Spanish language.  Latino Weekly Review supports the movie, independent film, music, fashion, and fine arts industries.  LWR also looks at business trends and brings to the bi-lingual audience a sophisticated publication unique to advance the business opportunities of the most formidable consumers in the English/Spanish language market.  Dr. Flores brings four decades of experience in writing about Hollywood movies and motion picture legends in his work for the La Opinion newspaper in Los Angeles.  Dr. Flores has covered all of the leading film festivals with interviews with the industry leaders in film, TV, and commercial production.  Dr. Flores is a permanent resident of the United States, born in Mexico.  In his distinguished career he has also led major public relations and marketing campaigns for businesses in the performing and visual arts.

Ed Madinya

Ed is a Creative Director with an all-encompassing design background.  He has developed many projects in various design fields including corporate design, magazine design, advertising design, industrial design, automotive design and photography.  Ed has served as Art Director for McMullen Argus Publishing and Y-Visionary Publishing, designing nearly five hundred covers.  Ed is considered an authority on cover development and design.  His comprehensive campaigns have won many awards.  Ed brings his experience as the Creative Director of Latino Weekly Review, the first Spanish/English Language Film Review website, to the work of BHHF.

Bob Jimenez

Bob Jimenez is co-host/producer/founder LA Business Today LA’s only TV talk show about business.  The informative talk show is carried on Channel 35 and KLCS-TV in Los Angeles and Southern California.  The internationally acclaimed award winning community business talk show was co-founded by Bob & Sharon Jimenez and is sponsored on Channel 35 by longtime community television activist and former TV talk show host LA City Councilman Bill Rosendahl.  Bob Jimenez is among the most award winning Latino newsmen in the history of California.  A winner of five Emmy’s, the Dupont Columbia award, the George Foster Peabody award and two Ohio State awards his career has included NBC Nightly News, KRON-TV San Francisco, KCRA-TV & Radio Sacramento, KCBS-TV Los Angeles, UPN News 13 Los Angeles, and KFWB Los Angeles.  Bob Jimenez led the best 30 minute newscaster in the Western United States in 1996 winning the highly coveted Edward R. Murrow Award at KCOP-TV Los Angeles.  He has co-anchored with Tritia Toyota, Beverly Burke, Roz Abrams, Suzanne Saunders, Sylvia Chase, Tawney Little, and Bree Walker.   A Veteran of the United States Airforce Bob Jimenez served in Southeast Asia at NKP & Korat Royal Airforce base.

Sadia Ashraf

Sadia is a writer, content strategist and communications specialist who has spearheaded many international publicity campaigns. She has raised funds, written about public policy, developed educational programs and traveled to earthquake devastated areas for nonprofit development. She has worked as the Outreach Director of Central Asia Institute and the Public Relations manager at Friends of Public Arts. Sadia has spoken at many universities as a public speaker; also appearing in Comcast Newsmakers, CNN Headline News and NPR; and published in many national publications. Ashraf has been a board member of several foundations including Zindagi Trust and Mi Barrio. She has two Masters Degrees in English from Loyola University Chicago.

She works on production for film, both her own and that of others. She writes and blogs. She loves to design haute couture gowns, and is a fashion stylist. She attended Christendom College in Front Royal, VA, and her educational background is in the liberal arts.
